Artist Statement
A Texas-based artist, April Sandone works with many forms of media. Her artwork often utilizes resin and metallic paints, blending them to create a life of their own.
Throughout the painting process, Sandone’s pieces morph and transform multiple times, allowing for unique and unexpected outcomes. She listens to music while painting to inspire each piece and allow her to dive deeper with emotions and energy.
Bio
As a dedicated mother, it has been a challenge to continue to paint. Between pregnancies, and diapers, and learning on the job, the past six years have been dedicated to becoming the next best version of myself. I have grown with every new step and with the help of those I love along the way. And now, with two happy, adjusted boys, I have started to paint again.
